Flag snaps are used to attach your flag to the flagpole halyard. These are tied into the rope the distance from flag grommet to flag grommet.
"Quieter" nylon flag snaps are designed for residential use.
Two flag snaps are required for flags 2 x 3ft to 8 x 12ft which have two grommets. Flags 10 x 15ft and larger flags require 3-5 flag snaps and/or quick links.
Vinyl snap covers used with metal flag snaps reduce noise of the flag snap banging against flagpole.
