Flag snaps are used to attach your flag to the flagpole halyard. These are tied into the rope the distance from flag grommet to flag grommet.
Flag snaps can tied into solid braid halyard, wire core halyard and rope assemblies.
Note - Winch style internal halyard poles with stainless steel cable instead of halyard, use flag arrangements which include the flag snaps.
"Quieter" nylon flag snaps are designed for residential use.
Two flag snaps are required for flags 2 x 3ft to 8 x 12ft which have two grommets. Flags 10 x 15ft and larger flags require 3-5 flag snaps and/or quick links.
